Chinese New Year Celebration
Each year, we celebrate the Chinese New Year with a carnival and performances organized by our PTA. This important cultural event at Westside Chinese School brings our families together and helps to raise funds for our school.
Our celebrations usually include singing, dancing and instrumental performances from our students, and a show-stopping lion dance. Past celebrations have also included a carnival of games and prizes for kids of all ages, raffles, silent auctions, arts and crafts and delicious food. Join the fun and support our school community!

Raffle will be announced at intervals between 1 1:00-1 1:45am. Must be present to win.
12pm | Festival ends

100% of all proceeds go to our school for operating expenses
Since 1967, the Westside Chinese School has been a volunteer based educational institution open to all families with an interest in learning Chinese language, writing, and culture.
As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, our Chinese New Year Festival is the primary fundraising event of the year. All proceeds go toteacher salaries, the rental of our Saturday campus, and tuition subsidization to keep our school affordable for all who would like to attend.
With an anticipated 500+ patrons, your message of support will reach a wide range of potential customers in Southern California, from Hollywood to Redondo Beach.

Your tax‑deductible donation or sponsorship will be featured in our program and we will provide table space forcards/brochures if needed.

Depending upon your level of sponsorship, other recognition opportunities are available, including the opportunity to set up an exhibitor’s booth at the event.
